Zuzana Ceralová Petrofová is a businesswoman and the president of the company PETROF. She was previously a member of the National Economic Council of the Government.[1] She continues the family tradition of piano making. [4] Before the second round she said that she did not want to come up with new promises and that she considered it important that young people from the Hradec area should not have to leave to find work and housing. [1] Before the second round she also said that she wanted to draw on her experience in business and international trade. [1]

In the Senate elections in October 2026 she ran in district 45 Hradec Králové as a non-party candidate for ODS, supported by KDU-ČSL. In the first round she received 21.94 percent of the vote and advanced to the second round, in which she will face Martin Dvořák of STAN, who received 25.13 percent. [2][3] Turnout in the first round was 45 percent, and seven candidates competed for votes. The incumbent senator Jan Holásek did not defend his seat. [2]

Her opponent Martin Dvořák described the second round as a contest of experience against inexperience and also said that he has been friends with her for a long time. [5]
