Ropid is the organisation that arranges public transport operations in Prague. Its spokesperson is Filip Drápal. [1][2]

For 28 October 2026, which is a public holiday, and for the autumn school break that follows, it announced changes to PID services. On Wednesday 28 October, public transport lines are to run to Sunday timetables. On Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October, all metro lines and most bus and trolleybus lines are to follow reduced break-time timetables with slightly longer intervals, especially in the morning and afternoon peaks. Trams are to run to standard timetables. [1][2]

School lines are not to run on these days; some lines serving schools with a headteacher's day off have not been running since Monday 26 October. The organisation recommends that passengers check their connections in journey planners or in the PID Lítačka app. [1][2] The Kuchyňka stop in Holešovičky, opened in September, brought the line roughly one thousand additional passengers every weekday in its first weeks of operation. [3] Bus line 145, the so-called tunnel bus, which has run since mid-August 2026 through the Blanka tunnel complex between Prague 6 and Prague 8, has according to Ropid already carried 200 thousand passengers.
