Petr Hladík is a KDU-ČSL deputy and former Minister of the Environment. At the head of the ministry he was the predecessor of Igor Červený (Motoristé sobě).[1] He also demanded that the ministry assess, before the vote on the amendment, whether the change could bring international arbitration against the Czech Republic. [2] During the debate on an amendment to the act on end-of-life products in the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Hladík, according to Ekonomický deník, demanded greater transparency of collective take-back schemes, including the company EKO-KOM. Meeting on the Česká inspekce životního prostředí
On 30 September 2026 deputies met in a closed session with the new head of the Česká inspekce životního prostředí, Pavel Straka. The meeting lasted into the night.[1] By his own account, Hladík put questions to Straka, but Minister Červený cut the debate short. Hladík claims that the minister began shouting at him. Červený admits that he objected to Hladík at the committee, but says he did not shout.[1]
Hladík called Straka's appearance before the committee undignified, because in his view the whole speech was read from paper.[1]
