Michal David is a singer. In October 2026 he wrapped up, in Tachov, a series of seven concerts in the Cheb and Tachov areas, with the last one held on 4 October.[1] The concerts were part of the ANO movement's pre-election campaign in support of Sandra Tsoukernik, a candidate for the Senate.[1] David wrote on Facebook that he was helping a friend, because the Karlovy Vary Region and the Cheb and Tachov area have high unemployment and people there need a better standard of living.[3]
According to a commentary on the FORUM 24 website, the series took place in Planá, Bor, Františkovy Lázně, Stříbro, Cheb, Aš and Tachov. The same site states that David has known the candidate since she was seventeen, trusts her, and is performing for a minimal fee.[2] The commentary also describes him as a singer who can sell out Prague's O2 arena and who has previously performed at events for politicians Miloš Zeman, Jiří Paroubek and Robert Fico.[2] According to Seznam Zprávy, David sang at a 2010 ČSSD pre-election conference in Teplice the song Správnej tým, which he originally wrote for the hockey players who won in Nagano, and in 2018 he backed Miloš Zeman in the presidential election.[3]
David wrote on Facebook that he was helping Tsoukernik as a friend and that, because of the high unemployment in the Karlovy Vary Region, people there need help achieving a better standard of living.[3]
At the rally in Aš, his hits were played, including the song Decibely lásky, and Tsoukernik danced with him to the song Discopříběh.[3]
In Tachov, the crowd also included the Prime Minister and ANO leader Andrej Babiš.[3]
