Markéta Škodová is a Czech politician and the leader of the Spojenci group in Příbram. After the 2026 municipal elections she is to become mayor of the town under a coalition agreement concluded in Příbram.[1][2]
The coalition agreement with the groups Příbram zdola, Šance pro Příbram-Naše Česko and Příbramáci pro Příbram was signed by representatives of the parties on Thursday 22 October 2026. The four-party coalition holds 13 seats in the 25-member council, and the winning ANO 2011 remains in opposition. Škodová said that agreement had been reached on priorities and on the way the town is to be run.[1][2]
The full-time deputy mayors are to be Vladimír Král (Šance pro Příbram), Lucie Albrechtová (Příbram zdola) and Marek Školoud (Spojenci).[2]
The seven-member town board is to be completed by three non-full-time councillors: Petr Kareš for Příbramáci pro Příbram, Simona Luftová for Příbram zdola and Josef Strejc for Šance pro Příbram. [1]
The coalition is now preparing its programme statement and wants to emphasise transparent administration, budget responsibility and cooperation with citizens and town districts. [1]
Příbram, with about thirty-three thousand inhabitants, had until now been governed by a coalition of ANO 2011 and ODS, which lost its majority on the council after the elections; ANO 2011 won eight seats, three fewer than before, and Spojenci six instead of the previous four. [1]
