CSG enters the company
On 13 October 2026, the defence and engineering group Czechoslovak Group (CSG) of the entrepreneur Michal Strnad announced that it had acquired a 9.5 percent stake in MDA Space and had become its largest shareholder.[1] The holding did not state the value of the transaction and holds the shares through a subsidiary set up for this purpose.[1]
Strnad said that the investment could mean joint development of the two companies, for example in investments in production capacity in Europe, in cooperation on strategic acquisitions, or in using CSG's business contacts for the international expansion of MDA Space.[1]
