Městské lesy Česká Lípa manage the forests of the town of Česká Lípa in the Liberec Region. [1]
According to a report by the Czech News Agency of 18 October 2026, they have completed the restoration of the suburban forest around the Špičák hill. New trails, rest areas and works of art were added there in the summer, and a three-kilometre single track has now been refurbished. The trail was widened to 80 to 120 centimetres and covered with new stone. The work cost 400,000 crowns, half of which was paid by Nadace ČEZ. In the work the municipal forests also cooperated with the Probation and Mediation Service. The work included culverts, ditches and places that retain water in the forest stands. [1]
The restoration of the area cost around 2.5 million crowns this year, and a large part of the costs was covered by a subsidy from the State Agricultural Intervention Fund. [1]
