Lucie Kantorová (ANO) is deputy mayor of the city of Plzeň.[2]
In the 2026 Senate elections she ran in district no. 9, Plzeň-město. With 27.26 percent of the votes she advanced to the second round, in which she will face Karel Řehka (STAN), the former Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, who received 32.86 percent. The incumbent senator Lumír Aschenbrenner (ODS) did not advance. Turnout was 40.75 percent.[1][2]
According to Deník, Kantorová wants to push for changes in school legislation and expand cooperation with Bavaria.[3]
