In the first round of the tournament in Acapulco in February 2025 he played Tomáš Macháč. Menšík was nineteen at the time. Macháč won 6:4, 2:6, 6:3. It was the first meeting of the two Czechs on the ATP Tour and lasted over two hours. In the second set Macháč lost his serve three times, but in the deciding set he did not drop a point on serve. He broke Menšík's serve twice and ended the match in the ninth game with a clean game of his own. Both players were also due to play doubles in Acapulco.[1]
In August 2026 Menšík began the Masters-category tournament in Montreal. Seeded thirteenth, he beat Britain's Jacob Fearnley 6:3, 3:6, 6:3 in two hours and nine minutes. He won the first set without trouble and led 2:0 in the second, but then won only one of the next nine games and trailed 0:2 in the third set. He turned the match around to 5:2 and converted his first match point with a point straight off his second serve. In the next round he was due to play France's Terence Atmane.[2]
