The medical bed manufacturer Linet reached record revenue of CZK 9.7 billion in the 2025/2026 business year, while operating profit fell slightly to CZK 1.4 billion.

The medical bed manufacturer Linet had record revenue of CZK 9.7 billion in the 2025/2026 business year. A year earlier, when revenue was also a record, it came to almost CZK 9 billion. Operating profit fell from CZK 1.5 billion to CZK 1.4 billion. The company produced 90,000 beds. It grew most in Europe, the United States and the Middle East, Linet Group director Tomáš Kolář told the Czech News Agency in response to a query.[1][2]
The Czech part of the company, which employs around 1,000 people, had revenue of roughly CZK 3.9 billion, similar to the year before, but its profit fell from CZK 744 million to roughly CZK 490 million. Kolář said the results were affected mainly by global factors, the most significant being the tariff newly imposed on the company's products in the United States and in Brazil. Another factor was the strengthening of the koruna, which made domestic production more expensive and reduced the margin on exported goods. Management is focusing on the efficiency of administration and production through robotisation and artificial intelligence tools.[1]
Linet Group is based in Dordrecht in the Netherlands, employs about 2,000 people and operates in roughly 120 countries. For the 2026/2027 business year it aims for double-digit revenue growth. Kolář said the company continues to concentrate on geographic expansion, innovation and widening its offer through acquisitions.[1][2]
Linet makes medical and care beds, mattresses and other equipment, develops technologies and offers services including bed rental and servicing. It also focuses on so-called smart care, that is, remote monitoring of a patient by sensors in the bed. The company was founded by Zbyněk Frolík in Želevčice near Slaný, where one of its plants is located; another operates in Slaný.[1]
