An exhibition of works by the painter Míla Fürstová, titled Wings of Whisper (Křídla šepotu), has opened at the Municipal House in Prague; Novinky.cz described it as the author's largest exhibition in the Czech Republic so far. According to them, hundreds of people attended the opening and waited in a long queue in front of the building.[1][2]

Fürstová was born in 1975 in Pelhřimov and lives in England. She works in the technique of etching, which she finishes with colours, and creates intricately worked dreamlike, melancholic and romantic paintings.[1][2] The exhibition also presents works that have not yet been shown in the Czech Republic, including earlier works from her studies. It includes, for example, work for the band Coldplay, the cover of Meky Žbirka's album Double Album, work for the company Mattoni and book illustrations, for example for Mácha's Máj.[1]

The exhibition was organised and produced by Katka Žbirková together with the curator Jan Dotřel and the architect Josef Tomšej. According to Deník, the preparation took two years. According to the curator Dotřel, the work is divided into five circles: symbolism, surrealism, motherhood, physicality and architecture. The exhibition is not accompanied by texts, only by five quotations; the catalogue offers a key to reading it.[1]
