EUROVIA CZ is a company of the VINCI Construction CS group that carries out maintenance of the tunnel in Liberec for the Road and Motorway Directorate.
EUROVIA CZ is part of the VINCI Construction CS group. For the Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic it carries out maintenance of the tunnel in Liberec on road I/35.[1][2]
According to reports, maintenance is carried out as standard twice a year. It includes cleaning the road surface, washing the walls and ceiling of the tunnel, cleaning the drainage, inspecting and maintaining the lighting and road signs, further diagnostic work and verifying that the safety and technological systems function. According to Iveta Štočková, spokeswoman of the VINCI Construction CS group, maintenance consists of precisely this work. Work is done in the closed tube, and traffic is diverted to the opposite tube in a 1+1 arrangement. Two stages of closures of the individual tubes are planned for the period from 9 to 12 October 2026.[1][2]
