Špičák is a basalt hill on the northern edge of Česká Lípa in the Liberec Region. At the summit stands a 14-metre-high brick tower from 1885, which serves as a telecommunications transmitter and is not normally open to the public. [1]
The area is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. In 2026 Městské lesy Česká Lípa completed the restoration of the forest there for roughly 2.5 million crowns. Benches, a refurbished viewpoint over Česká Lípa and the surroundings, and seven wooden sculptures created at the Česká Lípa Dřevosochání woodcarving event at Lipý Castle were added. The educational trail was repaired, as was the path from the northern side, from the allotment garden colony towards the airport. The area also includes a three-kilometre single track for cyclists.
