Zdeněk Cendra is a Czech entrepreneur, the founder of the company CDN77.[1] The company, which operates globally under that brand, runs a network of servers for content delivery, and its customers include, for example, the European Space Agency and the NordVPN service.[2]

Sale of part of the company

According to E15 of 23 September 2026, Cendra, until then the sole owner, sold just under a third of the company to the fund CVC Capital Partners. The parties did not announce the size of the stake or the price; E15 gives a stake of 30 percent and an investment of over ten billion koruna.[1] Hospodářské noviny also reported 30 percent and a valuation of the company at 1.85 billion dollars.[3] CDN77 said that Cendra and the company management retain their current independence.[1]

Financial results

According to Seznam Zprávy, which had the annual report at its disposal, the company raised its revenue in 2025 by 24 percent to 215 million dollars, while operating profit fell by 7.5 percent to 58.5 million dollars.[2]
