Vít Klusák is a documentary film director. He is the author of the films Caught in the Net (V síti) and Czech Dream (Český sen) and of the 2021 television film 13 Minutes (13 minut).

His new feature-length documentary Jediná vteřina (The Single Second) uses reconstructions to present the stories of four real traffic accidents caused by inattention and examines the circumstances that preceded the collision. It loosely follows the film 13 Minutes. The film features people who caused the four accidents and also bereaved relatives, whose testimony is reacted to by a group of drivers led by a crisis interventionist. [1] It was made as part of the prevention campaign Normální řízení zabíjí (Normal driving kills) of the Czech Insurance Association. The film had its Prague premiere on 26 October 2026 at the Lucerna cinema. [4] It had its world premiere at the Ji.hlava documentary film festival, entered cinemas on 27 October 2026 distributed by Bontonfilm, and is to be available on the Oneplay platform from 15 November 2026.

Klusák said that he wanted viewers to connect the events in the film with their own behaviour behind the wheel.
