Tomáš Taraba is the dismissed Minister of the Environment of the Slovak Republic [1][2].

According to his statement of 1 October 2026, after his dismissal the majority of the three-party government coalition of Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer) in parliament shrank to a single vote, 76 to 74 [1][2]. According to FORUM 24, he refuses to give the government automatic support [3].
