Tomáš Chorý is a Czech footballer, a striker for Slavia Prague.[1][2]
In October 2026 he was sent off in Slavia's league match against Hradec Králové.[2] Head coach Jindřich Trpišovský publicly criticised the sending-off.[2] At a press conference Trpišovský said he had not spoken to the player after the match and called the incident "an utterly stupid thing".[4] Slavia then travelled to Istanbul for a Champions League match against Fenerbahçe, played on Tuesday 20 October 2026. Chorý was not part of the squad.[1] In May 2026, in an abandoned derby against Sparta, Chorý was sent off after hitting defender Asger Sørensen in the head with his elbow and received a six-match ban.[5] In August 2025 he was sent off in a match against Slovácko after striking goalkeeper Milan Heča in the groin, and the disciplinary committee banned him for six matches.[5] Last season, according to ČTK, he received three red cards as a Czech international.[6] The Champions League match against Fenerbahçe kicks off on Tuesday 20 October 2026 at 18:45 Central European Summer Time.[1]
The sending-off came in the 55th minute after Chorý showed the head referee his middle finger, and the match ended goalless.[3]
