Rudolf Hrušínský Jr. is a Czech actor. He celebrated his eightieth birthday on 5 October 2026; his acting colleagues from the television series Ulice prepared a celebration for him.[1]
Since the first episode in 2005 he has played the caretaker Vlastimil Pešek in the TV Nova series Ulice.[2][3] Pešek was originally meant to be a grumpy and unpleasant owner of the building, but according to iDNES.cz Hrušínský turned him into one of the most popular characters of the series.[2] He has also acted in the series Cirkus Humberto, Dobrodružství kriminalistiky, Zdivočelá země and Hospoda.[3]
Besides acting he has painted; he exhibited his paintings in a gallery in Planá, which according to the Czech News Agency he no longer runs.[3]
