Petra Nesvačilová is a Czech actress [3]. She was due to take part in the 14th series of the television dance competition StarDance [3]. Her dance partner was to be Filip Hudlický. [2] According to Blesk, she was injured at the dress rehearsal when she fell into a camera opening and broke her leg. [1] In her words, doctors decided that she cannot continue in the competition under any circumstances. [1]
She withdrew from the competition before it began, as the media reported on 10 October 2026 [2][3]. The reason was a leg injury sustained during preparations, and the pair was to perform out of competition at the opening show. [2] Lucie Kapounová, the creative producer of the programme, said that viewers would not vote for their dance. Nesvačilová needs several weeks to recover and, according to Kapounová, could return in the tenth episode, when all the pairs return to the dance floor. [2] At the opening show the pair did perform in the end, and Nesvačilová was the only one to receive a standing ovation from the audience. [1]
