Jiří Lehečka is a Czech tennis player and Davis Cup representative.[2] In the 2026 season he reached the final of the Masters tournament in Miami, where he lost to Jannik Sinner, and in June the semi-final of the tournament in Stuttgart.[1]
The Tokyo tournament
In the second round of the Tokyo tournament he beat the Frenchman Hugo Humbert 5:7, 6:4, 6:4 and recorded the 150th win of his career.[2] In the quarter-final he beat the Paraguayan Adolfo Daniel Vallejo in under an hour without facing a single break point.[1] In the semi-final he was due to play Valentin Vacherot. Reaching the final would make him the first Czech finalist of the Tokyo tournament since 2008, when Tomáš Berdych won it.[1]
