The Integrated Regional Operational Programme (IROP) is a source of European subsidies for investment projects in Czechia. It has supported, for example, the completion of the psychiatric clinic at Fakultní nemocnice Olomouc and an educational centre at the zoo in Olomouc.

Psychiatric clinic at Fakultní nemocnice Olomouc

Fakultní nemocnice Olomouc received IROP support for the completion and reconstruction of the building of its psychiatric clinic [1]. The investment is to cost more than 450 million crowns excluding VAT and, according to iDNES, a European subsidy will cover roughly half of the costs; construction work began in January 2026 [1][2].

Loděnka at the Olomouc zoo

The total cost of the Loděnka educational centre at the Olomouc zoo is 72.2 million crowns including VAT. Up to 28 million crowns may be covered by an IROP subsidy, and the rest is paid by the city of Olomouc [3].
