Gernot Grasser is an Austrian ski coach. In October 2026 he was 44 years old. He most recently led the service team of the Austrian women's team in the World Cup and previously worked for eleven years with the Canadian men's national team.[1]
Ester Ledecká's team
At a pre-season press conference on 7 October 2026, Ester Ledecká announced that her new ski coaches in the coming season will be Karlheinz Pichler as head coach and Grasser as second coach. According to Ledecká, the team had known each other since spring and the main cooperation began at an intensive camp in Chile; Pichler and Grasser, she said, had known each other for a long time.[1][2]
Grasser said that he first heard of Ledecká in 2015 at the Snowboard World Championships, where she won her first title, and that the decision to join her team was therefore easy for him.[1]
