In Všelibice in the Liberec area, two former agricultural buildings burned on the evening of Tuesday 29 September 2026. The fire was reported to firefighters at around half past nine in the evening. Shortly after 10 p.m. the incident commander raised the fire alarm to the second degree. Twelve units were sent to the scene at first; the number then rose to sixteen, and they included reinforcements from the neighbouring region.[1][2][3]
Firefighters divided the operation into three sectors: the first fought the fire in the upper building, the second in the lower building, and the third ensured the supply of water from the hydrant network and from the swimming pool. They contained the fire shortly before midnight and at around two o'clock in the morning lowered the alarm to the first degree. The local volunteer unit, together with firefighters from Český Dub, carried out the follow-up inspection until morning.[1][2][3]
The cause of the fire and the amount of damage were not known when the reports were published; firefighters are investigating them.[1][2]
