Matches of the 2026/27 season

In the round 5 match against Energie Karlovy Vary, which Sparta lost 0:1, Chlapík was sent off twice, the first time in the 17th minute for tripping. After the match he said that Sparta's players got into shooting positions most often while short-handed, when, in his view, they played with greater commitment.[1]

In the match against Dynamo Pardubice, who won 6:4, he got into a fistfight with Pardubice forward Jiří Smejkal at 1:4. According to Deník, Smejkal said that he and Chlapík had agreed on the fight at the face-off. Pardubice player David Tomášek saw in it an effort to rouse teammates, and Sparta defenceman Ronald Knot confirmed that this moment encouraged the team. Sparta was thus without its captain for five minutes.[2]

In the rescheduled round 7 match against Banes Motor České Budějovice, which Sparta won 4:2 and won at home for the first time in the season, Chlapík scored a goal and recorded an assist.[3]
