Country Radio is a private radio station that broadcast on medium wave from Liblice near Český Brod. It transmitted on 639 kHz from the Vysílač Liblice transmitter.[1][2]

The frequency and the masts at Liblice were previously used by Czech Radio, which ended medium-wave broadcasting at the end of 2021. Country Radio broadcast from Liblice afterwards, for the last time on 31 March 2025.[1][2] The masts of the Liblice transmitter were completed in 1976 and belong to the company České Radiokomunikace. [1] The pair of steel masts are 355 metres tall each, and the transmitter was ceremonially put into operation on 28 December 1976 with a total output of 1500 kilowatts. [2] Since that date no radio station has broadcast from the site.[2] Replacing the guy ropes, whose service life was set until 31 December 2026, was estimated to cost around 120 million crowns. [1]

The demolition of the masts was scheduled for the period from 12 to 16 October 2026. [1] Cutting up and clearing the steel structure was expected to last until the end of November 2026. [1]
