Bohuslav Martinů is a composer whose String Quartets Nos. 5, 3, 7 and 2 were recorded by the Pavel Haas Quartet. The album was released by Supraphon in autumn 2025 and won a Gramophone Award in October 2026 [1]. The British magazine Gramophone included it among its Editor's Choice picks in a review and called the Fifth Quartet a masterpiece [1].
The ensemble has long devoted itself to Martinů's quartet works and has performed them in full, for example in concerts at Wigmore Hall in London [1].
