In Soběslav, at around two o'clock in the afternoon on 3 October 2026, an ambulance of the rescue service of the South Bohemian Region collided with a car. The accident disrupted traffic in the town.[1]
According to rescue service spokesman Václav Burian, the driver, a paramedic and the patient being transported were lightly injured. All three were taken to hospital for further examination. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.[1]
