All Souls' Day goods in the promotional flyers of the largest retail chains are more expensive in 2026 than a year earlier. This follows from an analysis by the company Česká distribuční, which compared average promotional prices in October 2025 and 2026 at the seven largest chains. According to Echo24 of 25 October, the average price increase is 13 percent.[1]

Prices

The average promotional price of artificial flower arrangements rose from about CZK 101 to CZK 121, an increase of almost 20 percent. Grave candles are more expensive by roughly a tenth: a candle in a plastic container costs almost CZK 20 on average, and candles in glass lamps and lanterns CZK 39, which is ten percent more than a year earlier. Prices of fresh flowers, for example chrysanthemums or heather, rose from CZK 68 to CZK 71, an increase of four percent.[1]

Average discounts in the flyers rose from ten to 13 percent but did not offset the price increases, and the average promotional price of the monitored range rose from approximately CZK 223 to CZK 251. The analysis does not include Halloween goods.[1]

Česká distribuční marketing manager Jaroslav Staněk recommended comparing shops' offers before buying, which, in his words, can save more than a tenth of spending.[1]
